His career has ranged from designing, building and running a jazz club in Austin Texas, to many successful years in the technology industry as a senior executive in business development, marketing and sales. He stepped off the fast moving train 10 years ago, relocating to a small mountain town where he "fell into" designing and building websites for friends and for an occasional trade. His knowledge of business, coupled with his ever expanding skills as a designer and developer, have proven to be an effective combination for offering our clients a complete turn key and successful website adventure.
With his current primary residence in Homer, Alaska. He shares time in Austin, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada with family, friends and clients. Great design is in the details. Design must also support functionality, and vice versa. One can't, and shouldn't, be used to overcome the weaknesses of the other. Design is more than just choosing colors, typefaces, shapes, and images. Good design works to present information in such a way as to support the information it presents.
Develop
We specialize in XHTML and CSS front-end web development with some Java Script. We also build with a PHP based content management system integration, for easy site maintenance.
Host
We have servers hosted by either HostGator or ViaWest depending on the content management system used and the website requirements.
Supporting Services:
Supporting services are the services that can enhance, optimize or support your website over and above our primary services. We can provide these services to a certain level of complexity and if required have strong working relationships with experts in each of these fields as well.
SEO
Search engine optimization (SEO) along with Search engine marketing (SEM), are critical to your websites success. Building a great website that nobody sees is like building a great billboard and putting it in your basement! There is a general base level of work that is provided with each web site we build. From that point we will discuss with you how you intend to drive traffic to your site then provide you our services and recommendations on how to go about doing this.
